Free Writing - A Shopping Experience

Sentence Structure (too many conjunctions in a sentence)

1) I went to Bali and I went to the shopping centre and I saw a postcard of the sea and it reminded me of the toy I had lost in the sea.

(I went to a shopping centre in Bali. I saw a postcard of the sea. It reminded me of the toy I had lost in the sea.)

2) We went to a shopping mall and I went to Cold Storage and I brought my three sisters out and I put them in the trolley and I pushed them around and I bought bread and orange juice.

 (We went to Cold Storage in a shopping mall. I brought my three sisters out and put them in the trolley. I pushed them around. Next, I bought bread and orange juice.)

3) During the shopping trip, I wanted to buy a flower for my grandmother and plants for my grandfather but my mother did not allow me to buy because my mother said it was too expensive but my mother said I could buy the things that I wanted.

Sentence Structure

5) On the way to the room, I saw my father and he got some presents for my little brother and I.

6) In Taiwan, my father bought toys for my brother and I.

( In Taiwan, my father bought toys for us/ my brother and me).
