CNY week

Dear Parents,

Some reminders regarding CNY week.

1) On Thursday(CNY eve), the reporting time for pupils is 7.10a.m (at the school hall). Dismissal time is 9.20a.m.

2) Pupils can come in Chinese traditional costume with school shoes or PE attire.

3) P1 pupils will also get to toss Yu Sheng. Hence,please prepare a lunch box (or container) and a pair of chopsticks (or fork) for your child to eat after tossing. Note, it is vegetarian Yu Sheng and it contains peanuts.

4) As your child will be coming to school early in the morning, please ensure your child has proper and sufficient breakfast at home to last him or her for the morning.

5) Note that 3 Feb (Monday) is a school holiday.

Dear Parents,

1) CC Teacher told the class that they will be eating ba bao zhou ( eight treasure porridge) during CC on Monday.

Pupils need to bring a spoon and a bowl.

If your child is allergic to beans and nuts, you need NOT prepare a spoon and bowl for him/her.

2) Do read the letter regarding CNY celebration.

Recess - 22 January 2014

CCA note / school timetable

Dear Parents,

1)If your child had signed up for CCA ( Art Club, Wushu, basketball and Chinese Dance) earlier, do look out for the note from the CCA teacher-in-charge in their homework file.

2)The new timetable is given out. Refer to the one dated 21 January 2014.

New Timetable

Dear Parents,

1) Pupils will be given a new timetable tomorrow.

PE is on Tuesday and Thursday. Hence, do get your child to come in PE attire tomorrow.

2) Please remind your child to inform any of the teachers if he/she is unwell before PE lessons.

If you have MC or letter to inform that your child is exempted from PE for a period of time, do pass to me.

MC Online / Photo Taking

Dear Parents,

1) You can log into MC online from 18 Jan to 31 Jan to retrieve the slides for Morning With Teacher.

2) Note that pupils must come in school uniform for photo taking for their school smart card on 13 Jan (Monday). The cards will only be ready end of March and given to pupils probably in April.

1) Please note that food is not provided for the pupils from tomorrow (7 January) onwards. Hence, ensure that your child brings sufficient money or food for recess.

2) Do sign on Term 1 calendar.

3) Please be informed that Morning With Teacher is held on Saturday (11 January).  Refer to the handout for details.
